Description
Dedicated new construction housing for use in insulated ceilings can be in direct contact with insulation. Powder-coated steel housing meets a 2-hour fire rating per the International Building Code section 714 for 1-hour and 2-hour fire-rated assemblies. Air-tight construction provides energy savings by reducing the flow of air through the ceiling.
