Protect your exterior outlets with Reliance Controls Single-Gang Extra-Duty In-Use Covers. Constructed from extended-life, high-impact Polycarbonate and rated NEMA 3R for outdoor use. Our in-use covers host a 16-in-1 configuration to meet your weatherproofing needs. Cover can be installed vertically or horizontally and provide extra-duty protection—patent pending on our quick-snap adapter system and our hinge system. Be sure to install it on a smooth, flat surface. If installed on an irregular surface such as brick or cedar siding, a ¼” bead of non-hardening silicon caulk (sold separately)must be placed between the gasket and the mounting surface to ensure a weatherproof seal.
